What RoadShare stores
RoadShare may store account details, road-project information, project notes, uploaded document metadata and private file contents, proposal settings, and sharing records. County parcel and road data comes from public GIS sources and may be refreshed when a project opens.
Uploaded documents
Road agreements, CC&Rs, estimates, and images may contain names, addresses, or legal and property information. Uploaded files are intended to remain private to the project owner. RoadShare does not include raw files in proposals or shared views unless a future sharing feature obtains explicit permission.
Analytics and diagnostics
RoadShare may collect limited product events and technical failures to improve reliability. Analytics must not include full addresses, parcel identifiers, private notes, filenames, document text, passwords, session tokens, or share tokens.
Sharing
When an owner publishes a proposal, recipients receive only the published proposal snapshot and owner-approved settings. Private project data, uploaded files, and internal document findings are not part of the shared payload.
Service providers
Production hosting may use separate providers for authentication, databases, private file storage, transactional email, monitoring, analytics, and billing. Provider choices and subprocessors must be disclosed before launch.
Retention and deletion
Account deletion is designed to disable access, revoke active shares, and schedule deletion after a recovery period. Final retention periods, backup deletion timing, and legal holds require owner and legal approval.
Your choices
Account holders may request an export of their RoadShare data and may schedule account deletion. Contact details for privacy requests must be added before production launch.
